Meet Our Staff

Ann Solomon is Paddington Station Preschool's Director and is responsible for its daily operation. She has been with Paddington since 1996.
She says what she loves most about Paddington is, "...the families and staff and the feeling that I have every morning when I walk through the door of the school."
Ann is very passionate about children's literature and has become a familiar face in the classrooms at Paddington. Students join Ann for her storytime when they listen to a book hand-picked by Ann.
She has a large collection of children's books, and at the top of her reading list is The Big Orange Splot by D. Manus Pinkwater.
Ann is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and has called the Denver-area home for 42 years.
She is proud to have had three grandchildren graduate from Paddington Station Preschool.
When Ann is not at school she enjoys travelling, cooking, shopping and exercising, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Kathy Duda is Paddington Station Preschool's Director of Admissions.
She joined Paddington in 2001 after leaving a hectic corporate management position.
Kathy says what she loves most about Paddington is, "Everything! The magic that each of the teachers instills into every family's life."
Her favorite children's books are Ol' Lady Grizelda by Littleton, Colorado author Justin Matott and Stellaluna by Janell Cannon.
Kathy is a native of Chicago, Illinois but has called the Denver-area home for 14 years.
Not only is she in charge of enrollment at Paddington, she's also a Paddington parent, four times over.
When Kathy isn't at school, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and gardening with her family.

Jason Staberg is the school's Assistant Business Manager and also teaches in the Tiggy Winkle Pre-Kindergarten classroom.
He has been with Paddington Station Preschool since 2006 and got his start participating in the Stanley British Primary Teacher Preparation Program.
Jason says what he loves most about Paddington is that it's a "creative and loving community."
He says any book in the Dr. Suess collection is at the top of his reading list.
Jason is a native of Arvada, Colorado. Not only does Jason work in the Business Office and the classroom at Paddington, he's a Paddington parent as well.
When he's not at Paddington Jason enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing and spending time with his family.

Nancy Neusteter is Paddington Station's Administrative Assistant. You'll find her in the school's office working with the Director and assisting teachers.
Nancy has been with Paddington since 2002.
She says what she loves most about Paddington is, "the giggles, the tears, and the chatter" as well as "all of the staff."
Nancy is a native of Syracuse, New York but has called the Denver-area home for 39 years.
When she's not hard at work at Paddington, she enjoys canoeing and kayaking Colorado's waterways.

Shawn Tuohy-Gaydos is Paddington Station's school nurse. When she's not helping make students feel better, she's putting smiles on faces of children in the Benjamin Bunny classroom.
Shawn joined Paddington in 2008, but prior to joining our staff, she was a Paddington Station parent.
She says what she loves most about the school is, "Each child is truly valued and respected."
Her favorite children's book is Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson.
Shawn is a native of Northbrook, Illinois and has lived in the Denver-area since 2005.
When she isn't in the nurse's office or the classroom, she enjoys skiing, hiking, travelling and spending time with her family.

Juliette Hidahl joined the Paddington Station Preschool staff in 2009 as Administrative Assistant in the Business Office. She is responsible for the school's daily accounting needs and can answer questions regarding tuition.
Juliette has more than 30 years experience in accounting and administration.
She says what she loves most about Paddington is, "...hearing the music of children's voices."
Juliette is a Denver native.
When she's not in the Business Office crunching numbers, Juliette can be found hiking Colorado's mountains, gardening, and taking her dog, Sadie, on long walks.
Juliette also has a passion for Colorado history and historic preservation. She serves on the Idaho Springs Historic Preservation Review Commission.
