Perry Salvino
Jemima Puddleduck

Perry Salvino teaches Pre-K in the Jemima Puddleduck classroom and has been with Paddington Station Preschool since 2002.  Not only is she a Paddington teacher, she's a parent of Paddington preschoolers.

Perry says what she loves most about Paddington is, "The child-directed, play-based philosophy.  The people I work with are caring, creative and encouraging.  The children are encouraged and allowed to be children by trying new things, taking risks, being who they are and exploring life from every point."

At the top of her reading list is The Pink Refrigerator by Tim Egan.  Her all-time favorites include: The Best Pet of All by David LaRochelle, Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers, My Lucky Day by Keiko Kasza, books from the Miss Nelson series by Harry Allard and the Hairy McClary series by Lynley Dogg.

Perry is a Denver native.

When she's not in the classroom, Perry loves to read, knit, listen to sports radio, play soccer and take her kids to the park.
