Dave is the father of two Paddington graduates, Hannah and Charlie, who loved their years in the big red building. A native of New York, Dave lived in Washington D.C. with his wife Amy before they moved to Denver in 2021.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Dave is a political consultant who has worked on local, state and federal campaigns, as well as for civil rights organizations and business owners. Dave is also the recipient of the 2025 Coyne Prize for amateur golf writing for a story he wrote about the desegregation of golf in Denver. Since moving to Denver, Dave has fallen in love with all the city has to offer for kids (and adults). In their free time, the Duberstein family can often be seen at the Denver Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Museum of Nature and Science, City Park Golf Course, or one of the city’s many parks and playgrounds. |
When we moved to Denver from Washington D.C., my wife and I were so excited to find a community at Paddington. Our kids looked forward to coming to school every day, thrived with play-based learning, and were supported by teachers who cared deeply about them and their classmates.
As the son of a school teacher and non-profit board member, I am extremely proud to have the opportunity to serve the Paddington community as a member of the Board.
