Families Helping Families
Parenting during Covid, is at best, a change from the norm and at it's hardest, as we've heard from many parents, overwhelming and territory that is difficult to navigate. To this end, the Families Helping Families committee, is planning several virtual events for the Paddington community. We encourage everyone to attend, including families, Paddington alum, grandparents and caregivers. You can find more information about each event in All Aboard or by contacting Deb.
October 12 @ 8pm via Zoom: Mindfulness and Parenting Feeling a little extra stressed parenting these days? Please virtually join us October 12th @ 8pm for: Mindfulness & Parenting. Michelle Paget, a Child and Family Therapist and Registered Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor, will walk us through ways to help our families feel more balanced. She will be interviewed by Emmy Award Winning Journalist Amanda Kinsey. Both Michelle and Amanda are Paddington moms. The Paddington Parent Association was founded in 2013. A dedicated group of parents created the following mission statement:
“The Paddington Parent Association is here to build a community partnership between families and faculty to support the Paddington experience.” Every Paddington parent is a member of this group and is welcome to attend the monthly meetings on the secondMonday of the month. Meeting reminders and other PPA updates will be provided in Paddington’s ALL ABOARD! weekly email update.
