Adam Perkins
Adam’s day job is building great places as Director of Development at Urban Villages, a real estate development firm that specializes in designing, constructing, and investing in dynamic, district-wide ventures anchored by extraordinary buildings and the spaces that connect them.
Guiding Adam’s work is his conviction that the built environment and the spaces and places they create function as the connective tissue that binds people together and anchors community. He has a background in community planning, international development, public works, and equity planning.
Prior to joining Urban Villages, Adam was Director of Urban Planning at the Downtown Denver Partnership where he led Downtown Denver’s place-based economic development efforts through improving the public realm. Previously, Adam worked for the City of Denver where he coordinated private and public infrastructure and design projects in the public right-of-way.
Adam is a graduate of Colorado College (BA in Religion and Environmental Science) and University of Colorado (Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning). In addition to serving as a Trustee for Paddington Station, Adam serves on board of the following organizations: the Denver Park Trust, the 5280 Trail, the Golden Triangle Creative District, the Golden Triangle Local Maintenance District, and the 14th Street General Improvement. When you are in Downtown Denver, look out for Adam riding his two kids and dog around in his cargo bike.
I joined the Board of Trustees in my last year as a Paddington Parent because I couldn’t stand the thought of saying goodbye to this magical place. Paddington Station is a place that treasures all kids for who they are and celebrates them as kids. I am committing to supporting Paddington to help ensure that our community always has a place where kids can be kids.
