Dan Seitz, Facilities Manager
Dan is a Colorado native. He grew up in Highlands Ranch and Littleton and attended St. Anne’s Episcopal School where his dad is the Director of Plant Operations. Dan graduated from Littleton High School in 2003 and then studied for two years at MSCD. After working, seasonally, for St. Anne’s for over 14 years and working as a bartender and General Manager of several different local bars and restaurants, he was excited to start new career at Paddington in 2016. Dan was ready for a change – and Paddington Station Preschool was the perfect change!
Growing up with my dad as the maintenance director at St. Anne’s, and attending there with both my brothers, engrained the community of independent schools in my life at an early age. After graduating, through high school and after, I was always drawn to work at St. Anne’s, working seasonally for many years and enjoying the culture of a small community. I worked many years in the service industry from server to manager of several restaurants and bars, and needed to make a lifestyle change. I decided it was time to direct myself more toward a rewarding career. That’s what brought me to Paddington. The kids, the community and the work. I enjoy working with my hands, being active, helping people and finding creative solutions to the most random and deceivingly difficult issues of this old building. It’s a challenging job with plenty of surprises, but it’s rewarding being a part of growth and improvements…And being a superhero to the little ones wondering where that ladder is going!
