Education: Bachelors of Social Work from Colorado State University 2016
Year you started in the field: 2021
Year you started at Paddington: 2022
What is Paddington to you?
I’m eager to begin this new chapter in my life with the Paddington community because Paddington’s learning style aligns with mine. I believe safety is one of top priorities when it comes to playing and exploring. I hope I can help our students learn to express their emotions, share their thoughts, and build friendships. My hope is that our toddler team will help cultivate a safe environment where our children can grow, explore, learn, and play. Most importantly I hope we can have fun this year and build beautiful memories together.
When I’m not at Paddington….
I share three fur babies with my long-term boyfriend. We have a white and gray Siamese Mix cat named Zeus, a black domestic short hair cat named Loki, and a black & brown mixed dog named Buster. I love to spend time with my fur babies and loved ones. I love to make crafts on my free time, especially during the holidays. I enjoy playing video games, cooking and working out.
After graduating from CSU with a degree in Social Work, I knew I wanted to help children in some capacity but found social work is not for the faint of heart. Instead, I found work in customer relations but overtime I realized I was unhappy as I was not following my real passion. In 2021, I had the opportunity to become a toddler teacher and quickly realized I was finally able to make a difference in my kiddos lives. I always wanted to help others and what better way than to help those little souls who are just beginning their journey to becoming beautiful humans. I look forward to growing as teacher alongside with my colleagues and students.
