Education: I completed my undergrad degree at the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2000. I completed my Masters in Education at the University of San Francisco in 2009.

Year you started in the field: I began teaching in the Early Childhood Education field in 2005.

Year you started at Paddington: 2021

What is Paddington to you?
“Play is the highest form of research” -Albert Einstein. I truly believe in this quote by Albert Einstein and Paddington’s commitment to the play-based philosophy is what drew me to this school. In my years as an early childhood educator, I have been able to witness first-hand the profound impact that allowing children the opportunities for rich engaging play can have on their developmental growth. My hope for my students at Paddington is that they can take the feelings of creativity, love of learning, and joy that they experience here at Paddington with them forward into their future endeavors.

When I’m not at Paddington…. I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog. We can often be found hiking, cooking together, listening to music, or playing in our backyard. I also enjoy spending my time with a good book, doing yoga, or working in my garden.
