Education: BS in Education from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, 1977
Colorado Academy Teacher Intern Program 2009

Year you started in the field: My early years of teaching I taught K-12 as a physical education teacher. I have been teaching early childhood since 2010. For three years I was on the faculty of Colorado Academy Preschool. I spent one year teaching ages 5-10 at a private school in Huzhou, China in 2013-14.

Year you started at Paddington: I started my career at Paddington as a substitute teacher for one year in 2014 and I then signed on as full-time faculty in 2015.

What is Paddington to you?

Learning through play is a philosophy that Paddington embraces to its fullest. Play is the work of children and the more they do it the better it is for their growth and development. I love that I have the opportunity each and every day to help the children in my class develop the skills and give them the tools to help them to love school and make their way into the world happy and fulfilled.

When I’m not at Paddington….
I love to garden, travel
, and spend time with family, especially my three grandchildren. I love to hike, snowshoe, go camping and read.
